A Serious Discussion of Blogging Using Memes

We bloggers are a very special breed.

We like to talk about writing a lot.

And it’s not always easy.

.

.

.

We like to get our work out there so others can read it and give us feedback.

Except as soon as we post something, we begin to get very anxious.

In spite of our various anxieties, we’re always looking for ways to increase our readership … with mixed results.

We then worry that people won’t take our writing in the spirit that we meant it.

And after posting something, we suddenly fret about all of the glaring errors that we see in our writing.

But with enough encouragement, we may decide to take our writing to the next level.

But with perseverance and hard work and focus, we can succeed in the most unexpected ways.

Anyway, thanks for reading this.  I had no idea what else to write.

  1. A perfect 10, and bonus marks for the begoggled lab.

Thanks to having 2 teen children, I am able to use the latest vernacular, and embarrass them at a hundred paces. My daughter calls me ‘boi’ and my son, well, rarely talks to anyone over the age of 15. (Besides who TALKS these days?)

Memes, dank or not, are a guilty pleasure, and make me laugh more often than not, as yours did. This must have been fun to put together! See you, as they say, in the funny papers.

    • Thanks, Wilt!

Like you, I had no idea about memes or any other cultural phenomena after about, say, 1990. But having a teenager in the house will educate you quickly!

And I agree … memes are my guilty pleasure. I expect to be found unconscious in a meme den someday, much to the shame of my family.
