What Did I Just Read?

The Steely Stud Finder

A Mystery
by Benton Garapolo

The steamy, swampy town of Smithville holds a secret.

Jane Grumbly has the perfect life working as a mailman in the city and clogging with her enthusiastic boyfriend, Steve Stevenson.

However, when she finds a steely stud finder in her cellar, she begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the Grumbly family.

A garage sale leaves Jane with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off to misty Smithville to find some answers.

At first the people of Smithville are gung-ho and chipper. She is intrigued by the curiously clever chef, Greg Gregson. However, after he introduces her to hard internet porn, Jane slowly finds herself drawn into a web of blackmail, gluttony and perhaps, even pride.

Can Jane resist the charms of Greg Gregson and uncover the secret of the steely stud finder before it’s too late, or will her demise become yet another Smithville legend?

Biff Says:  Okay, I’m not one for cheap tricks to create a blog post or to try and attract readers, but this … wow.  I just had to share this.   I went to one of those fill-in-the-blank book writing sites and entered a bunch of random things and this is what resulted.  I’m not quite sure what to make of this.

  1. Ok… Seriously… Wow!

I almost didn’t read this. Simply because I don’t read posts about book reviews and the like. I read a loooot of posts in a day, and when I have time for a book, I like to read in French (gives me a little break) It is not that I don’t want to encourage these writers, I just don’t have the time, right now. So unless someone buys me a time-stretcher, I don’t read those posts…

But it was one of your posts… so I DID read it. And I giggled so much I had to explain to my bf what was going on 😛

    Nice job!
