Ahh! The sounds of spring!
Not birds singing …
nor new leaves rustling in the trees …
nor rabbits rustling in the hedges.
But leaf blowers, lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, mulchers, dethatchers, tree trimmers.
All power driven, all noisy, all consuming.
I cannot hear spring over all the din of spring cleaning!

Surprised you didn’t hear the hacking coughs of some overzealous cleaner who unfortunately mixed ammonia and bleach products. All windows in the house were opened for a time.

That most likely would have been me. But it was just allergies more so than the cleaning products (though they do a number on me, too). lol!
